Make a silver ring with your own decorative surface, texturing, patterning, symbol stampings, lettering, random hammer marks or all the above! The workshop starts with experimentation on copper first so you get the techniques down, then onto sterling silver.
Have some fun forcing silver into a wacky ring, take it quietly and make a beautifully crafted silver ring, or do something in between.
I will help out with the very hard parts, of course. But you eventually learn quite a bit about making jewellery by hand, including brazing the joint at over 700degC, then making it nice and polished. No jewellery-making experience necessary. Bush Jewellery Studio is a private jewellery studio which also offers tuition. Workshops emphasise practical jewellery-making processes, simple hand technology, and hand-made tool-making.
