My name is Phil and I love taking photographs.

I’m a Sussex wedding photographer living in Brighton. I shoot weddings, families, portraits, events and the occasional landscape. I was born in Stockport, but found my home in Brighton & (Hove actually) with my wonderful wife Katie.

I’ve been photographing for over 10 years, from being a budding college student, going through Brighton University and getting my BA in Editorial Photography to being a freelance wedding photographer in Sussex. I also work as an event, portrait and commercial photographer for clients in London, Surrey, Essex, Kent and throughout the South East of England. As well as photographing weddings & events, I spend some of my time tutoring photography at an Adult Education Charity called Friends Centre in Brighton.

I love being a wedding photographer and running my own business, shooting couples locally but I'm happy to travel all over the UK and have been known to photograph weddings abroad in Europe too! I also like relaxing on Sundays after a wedding or climbing hills and walking in the countryside. I love cooking, vegetarian food, the British countryside (particularly open water and the Sea), real ale/beer and wine (Cotes du Rhone), Radio 2, Jeremy Vine (& Tim Vine!) history books, Scandinavian crime dramas, Game of Thrones (Books and TV) and 80’s music.
