My name is Ben Connolly, I’m a Wedding Photographer and a Creative by nature. I’m a dog lover, family is so very important to me and I have a wicked sense of humour!
I have been behind the camera since 1996 and have shot around 700 weddings in my career. I’ve won numerous Australian bridal industry awards, as well as 5 consecutive International Silver awards and an overall third & first place for 2015 & 2016 at WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) in Las Vegas.

I have been trained by 3 of the worlds top photographers in all facets of wedding photography, from capturing stunning images using natural and artificial light sources, to creating breathtaking wedding albums. I have a very unique style of wedding photography that is vibrant, colourful and elegant. My images are filled with beautiful emotion that will remain timeless as we mere mortals grow old.

To many photographers, what they do is just a job, but to me it’s a passion. Not only to see what I can shoot but to anticipate the beauty I can create in every image. I photograph with a flair for creating natural glamour, whilst at the same time capturing the raw emotion of a photojournalist. My style has been described as modern glamour meets light and bright, with the ability to make anyone look and feel amazing in front of my camera. My love for people and for my job creates powerful visual storytelling, capturing the natural magic of your wedding day but also creating magic of my own. I shoot around 45 weddings a year and I am available for wedding and speaking engagements both Nationally & Internationally.
