The island’s dry season is also its peak touristic season. This is from the month of April to September. And especially during the months of July, August and September it’s the busiest tourism time on the island. The humidity is often low and the rains minimal making it comfortable for vacation. The typical day during these months gets six hours of clear sunshine. Therefore, when planning for your destination wedding in Bali, avoid the peak seasons if you prefer some privacy. In general Bali's weather is great throughout the year, but be prepared for the wet season from October up to March. This season is characterized by abrupt downpours then the sky clears out leaving a humid and hot day. The rains, however, last few hours and usually during nighttime making it bearable for few visitors. This often means the crowds on the island are thinner.

The sunshine periods in a day keeps decreasing from the start to month end and the rains increase. November has high humidity levels and the sunshine time decreases by 2 hours. Monsoon sets in during December, thus there is more rainfall than in the other months. This may not present the best weather for a wedding day but the rains don't last the whole day. This makes it possible to work around the weather for your big day plans.
