I have recently introduced my 'Set Package Ceremony' option for those couples who are looking to keep within a budget, reduce the planning process or want a beautiful but simple, short and sweet ceremony. My 'Set Package Ceremony' still offers some elements of customisation and choice for couples within an established template. Through offering this package I am able to offer couple's access to a professional, full-time celebrant who will deliver your ceremony beautifully without the in-depth planning and cost of a bespoke celebrant package.

My Bespoke Ceremony Service … Your wedding is all about you and I will ensure that your wedding ceremony fits your personal style. I like to get to know ‘my couples’ so that I can customise your ceremony and ensure you feel comfortable and confident on your special day. My bespoke ceremonies are written 'from scratch' so they are completely personalised and unique to you. To start your thought process I have a wide-range of resources including readings, poems, vows, rituals, prayers, blessings and ceremonies for you to peruse. Once we have met and discussed your wishes and interests I will begin to prepare your ceremony for you, meeting and communicating with you to create your perfect ceremony. I always recommend a rehearsal to ensure everything runs smoothly and will assist in managing logistics and requirements on the day to make your wedding ceremony as stress-free as possible. I will arrive at least 30minutes prior to your ceremony and engage with your guests and suppliers in a warm, professional manner. When required I supply and set up a professional, high quality PA system with the ability to play ceremony music, and have many other wedding goodies available on request. You will receive a beautifully presented copy of your wedding ceremony along with your wedding certificate. I ensure all legal aspects are professionally and confidentially managed including the preparation and lodgement of all necessary paperwork and certificates. Upon initial contact I will provide you with information regarding the required documentation and I will assist you to complete the Notice of Intended Marriage and other legal records at our first meeting. After your marriage I will lodge all required documentation with Births, Deaths and Marriages, alleviating you of administration tasks. Six Easy Steps to creating your Wedding Ceremony: Step 1: First Consultation (free of charge) Call Carol Shepherd, Celebrant on 0413 141 521 and have a chat (or e-mail) and perhaps make an appointment for a complimentary first consultation. At this stage you need make no commitment for a future booking, it’s an opportunity for you to get to know me, and to browse through the pre-written ceremonies on offer. Step 2: Legal Documentation (NOIM) When you are ready to proceed we complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (see Marriage Legalities page for more information) and formally book your wedding date into my celebrant diary. It is at this stage that a deposit is required. Step 3: Choose your wedding ceremony. Traditional Beach Contemporary Garden Intimate Each ceremony is complete with vows and if you wish it can be used just as it is… Step 4: Ceremony Variations After choosing your ceremony style, if you would like to personalise it, you are then invited to select alternative vows and ring exchanges. I will provide guidance for the legal requirements should you wish to write your own vows. You may also wish to include some beautiful rituals such as a warming of the rings, candle ceremony, romantic time capsule (pictured above) or handfasting. Perhaps you have your own ideas or cultural additions: Your personal ceremony suggestions are welcomed. Step 5: Rehearsal or Final Meeting Should you wish, a wedding ceremony rehearsal is included in the fees, it’s an opportunity for me to help you both smooth out any nerves and provides a sense of confidence for your Wedding Day. I will take care of all the paperwork from start to finish, lodging it with the required authorities and guiding you through, or advising you on, any legalities. I will provide you with a sample ceremony, and my detailed resource folder, and I will work with you to create a unique and memorable ceremony. You will have access to my wireless, bluetooth compatible, PA system which allows me to also take care of your music which is one less stress for you. I provide a signing table and chairs, should you need them, and present you with a commemorative certificate and printed copy of your ceremony.
